We have now passed the British Cleaning Award Certification

Yet another tick for us to improve and keep our standards high!

Dirt Dominator British Cleaning Award

Biohazard Cleaning

We are trained in Biohazard and remediation clean-up. This means we can clean crime scenes, suicides, and all of the other yucky stuff such as blood, vomit, faces, and other human body fluids.

Many people think after death happens, it’s the council or emergency response that does the clean-up. You could not be more wrong.

Specialist cleaning companies such as ourselves take on the gruelling task of transforming a trauma scene, back into a fresh and liveable space. You won’t even know what happened before!

Managing Safety in Biohazard Cleaning

Safety is paramount when it comes to Biohazard Cleaning. It is dangerous because of the risks involved and chemicals we use to remediate the scenes.

So we decided to complete our Biohazard Health & Safety course to help us lower the risks involved to ourselves and the public.

Understanding PPE

Whether it is cleaning toilets or polishing floors, we all use PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) to help keep ourselves safe and from causing an injury.

Understanding PPE is a must when it comes to work places, especially those working in commercial settings. Steel toe capped boots, high-vis, and many other PPE’s keep us safe.

Understanding Colour-Coding

All cleaning Businesses should have a great understanding of the colour coding system. It’s pretty much industry standard, not only for cleaning, health organisations and other use it too!

For example, red for toilet areas, green for kitchen and food consumption areas, yellow for clinical settings, and so on.

Nobody wants their canteens cleaned with the same mop that was just used for a public toilet, right?

Chemical Hazard Pictograms

Ever wondered what those danger signs mean on trucks carrying fuel and cleaning chemical sprays?

We know exactly what each one means. It’s important to know what chemicals are irritants or corrosive. It helps us decide what PPE to wear and how to handle the chemicals.
